TESTIMONY MAGAZINE
A print and web publication systems design aimed to collect the unique storytelling of extraordinary individuals from diverse backgrounds that would uplift and inspire a thought-provoking message in hopes to bring about a positive change in other people's lifestyle. However, the concept development was to primarily explore the ways in which the typographic aesthetic functions and roles compare or constrast between both print and web.
REFLECTION INSIGHTS
My personal experience working with this particular project expanded my view on the different types of reading experience one encounters between the two mediums—both print and web. In short, I have come to realize several advantages and limitations of each medium and I had to find strategic ways to make the necessary adjustments for the typographic and image roles would function for the potential user. However, it was not a requirement to make the print publication and website appear the same but I did make attempts to take into consideration factors that would impact the overall experience, such as the magazine shelflife, attention grabbers, navigation consistency, and so forth. It is evident in my other featured work, or more specifically the Vogue: Globalized Values, that borrows these similar approaches in understanding how these typographic aesthetics translate into understanding branding method strategies across various print and web medium platforms for highly tailored audiences.
